If I don't have a car, who could help me get to and from the airport or my hotel?

Contact your fellow teachers for ride share options as many bring their own vehicle or are local. if you are unable to find a solution, please email renewed@onlineschool.ca and someone will be in touch.

Will the workshops be recorded?

All keynotes, workshops and learning labs will be recorded.

Are any parts of the conference optional?

Teachers are expected to attend all of the keynotes, workshops, learning labs and breakout sessions unless they have applied for an exemption from the Academic Head of School.

Is it possible to change workshops after signing up?

What is the menu for Lunch at RenewED?

Lunches for RenewED are catered. Please note that we are only able to accommodate the following dietary restrictions: dairy free, gluten free, dairy free and gluten free, and vegetarian. If your dietary restrictions do not fall under these categories, you will need to make alternative arrangements for lunch.

If I can't eat the conference food, where are the closest restaurants?

Zaab Thai, McDonalds, Wendy’s, Tim Hortons, Latin Fiesta, Taco Time. There is also an IGA shopping centre in the Willow Park Shopping Centre. You can view a map of the closest restaurants to find alternatives.

I have never been to KCC before. How do I find the workshop rooms?

There will be signs and lots of friendly staff to help you find your way. Here are the basics:

Ministry Center – The main auditorium on the ground level floor.
Fellowship Room – The main room in the basement.
Hospitality Centre – One of two meeting rooms on the upper floor. It is located in the center of the upstairs floor.
Meeting Room 1 – The second of the two meeting rooms on the upper floor. It is located to the back of the upstairs floor.
